Laying
Hens
Our flock of laying
hens are kept using organic methods, and like the cattle allow
us to utilise more of the land on the farm. All the
hens are the Tradition Lohmann breed which is a hardy hybrid
which lays brown eggs. The eggs are for sale in the
farm shop throughout the year.
Farmyard
Animals
We have a growing
number of animals on view for our customers to enjoy near
the farm shop. At the moment we have Pygmy goats, Suffolk
sheep, Norfolk Black turkeys, Indian Runner and White Crested
ducks and a number of bantam chickens. We frequently
have livestock for sale particularly during the summer months.
