Sourcing, Traceability & Provenance

All our products are fully traceable from producer to final product.  We source all our ingredients as locally as possible, and ensure they are of the highest quality.

Fruit -   around 80% of the fruit is grown by ourselves or at our family 

        farm near Bury St. Edmunds.  The rest is sourced from other local

        fruit growers.

Cream - the cream is sourced entirely from East Anglian dairy herds,

        through the East of England Co-op

Sugar -  comes from NBF, previously British Sugar and is made entirely

        from British sugar beet.

Other ingredients - we do use a limited number of ingredients from abroad such as ginger, spices, cocoa and vanilla.  Wherever possible we ensure these are fairly traded or oganic to ensure a fair deal for producers abroad.
