Our seasonally changing menu consists of starters, lunches, hearty sandwiches & daily specials. We also serve breakfasts, afternoon teas, Sunday lunches & fabulous homemade cakes and have a tasty children's menu.

We source much of our ingredients locally including produce grown on the farm and all our dishes are made from scratch. Functions can be catered for, just give us a call and let us know your requirements.

Starters and light lunches

Homemade soup of the day with homemade bread. (V) (GF) GF rolls available 
Deep fried breaded goats cheese with a pear, pecan nut and cranberry salad(V) 
Pork, apple and mustard terrine with caramelised onion marmalade 
and granary toast. 
Smoked salmon with pickled cucumber, served with toasted soda bread 
and black pepper and chive mayo 


Hand carved Suffolk ham, bubble and squeak cakes, and 2 poached eggs with hollandaise sauce. (GF) 

Leek and cauliflower cheese puff pastry tart, served with a dressed salad (V) 

Homemade chicken, smoked bacon and spinach pie with new potatoes 
or hand cut chips and fresh vegetables. 

Cod, pea and cheddar fishcakes served with
homemade tartare sauce and dressed salad 

Barn cafe pork and sunblush tomato burger in a roll with smoked cheddar and herb mayo 
served with hand cut chips and dressed salad 

The barn ploughman’s 
A slice of hand carved ham, local Shipcord cheddar and half of a homemade scotch egg, served with red cabbage coleslaw, Suffolk apple chutney, pickled onion, apple and homemade bread.

Children are welcome to have a half portion of the fishcakes or burger from the 
main course menu at £4.25

A bowl of freshly made soup of the day with a toasted ciabatta sandwich: 
Choose from:- 
Brie and cranberry sauce (v) 
Cajun chicken, mozzarella and garlic mayo 
Ham and/or cheddar and chutney 
Bacon, brie and caramelised onion marmalade 

Any of the above ciabatta without soup, 
served with red cabbage coleslaw and Corkers crisps 

Hand cut sandwiches on white or granary bread served with red cabbage coleslaw and Corkers crisps: 
Piri piri chicken mayonnaise and mixed leaf salad 
Bacon, brie, lettuce and tomato 
Smoked salmon, lemon cream cheese and rocket 
Ham, cheese and Suffolk apple chutney 
Egg mayo and cress (V) 
Prawn, black pepper and chive mayo and iceberg lettuce 

Children are welcome to have half of any hand cut sandwiches.

A freshly cut sandwich on white or granary bread served with a scone with jam and cream, OR a piece of homemade cake, with a pot of tea or a coffee of your choice.
