Alder Carr Farm and the RSPB invite you to an evening talk and buffet supper to highlight the devastating problems effecting some of the worlds most treasured rainforest, and the threat from oil palm plantations.  The RSPB will give you an insight into the truly breathtaking world of Sumatra and expose the dangers that are threatening  it's existence.  Come along and discover what you can do to help. 

The farm shop no longer sells products, such as baked goods, containing palm oil. The evening will illustrate why we believe this is so important.

7.00pm – View information and displays with a complimentary drink.

7.30pm - Lord Cranbrook - a personal experience of the problems facing rainforests in the region. He has lived and still works in Sarawak (now Malaysia) studying wildlife and leading expeditions. Author of several books on the mammals and birds of the rainforest.

8:30pm - Palm oil free Buffet Supper

14th June Strawberry Fayre

Come and celebrate the start of the English strawberry season at Alder Carr
Farm.  Strawberry tasting, strawberry cream teas and fun and games.

Don't be a coach potato come and celebrate this years harvest.  Discover the secret of the perfect mash. Tasting and activities to test your senses.

Join in the fun as we celebrate and discover the world of apples.  Taste some local apples and juice; enter the longest peel competition and other fun and games.

31st October Charity Halloween Fundraiser

This will be the 6th year we have held a fundraising halloween event at Alder Carr.  Come and join us for an evening of ghoulish fun, and help us raise money for local charities. 

From 4:30pm. 

There is a charge for this event (tba).
