The Farm Shop & Deli

Our farm shop & deli is overflowing with fresh, local and delicious produce. Field-fresh fruit and veg (even fresher if you pick your own!), home-reared Highland beef and Suffolk Lamb and free-range eggs are all grown or raised on the farm.

From the deli counter cheeses, cold meats, specialities from Europe, wine, beer and cider are all available. We also stock freshly baked treats made locally, store cupboard ingredients and an excellent range of fairtrade and organic goods.

Home-reared Highland Beef & Suffolk Lamb

Our fold of Highland cattle and flock of Suffolk Sheep are grass fed giving our beef unbeatable flavour and tenderness.  The beef  is hung for 21 days to give that succulence and flavour typical of old fashioned traditional beef.

Our Own Free-Range Eggs

Our flock of 400 happy hens have the run of our meadows, free to scratch, peck and dust-bathe! 

Alder Tree's Award-winning Fruit Ice Cream

All our fruit ice creams are hand-made with traditional English fruits grown on the farm or locally. To this we add British cream, sugar and little else. The few ingredients that are sourced from abroad such as chocolate, vanilla and ginger are either fairly traded or organic. 

Local, Seasonal Food

We sell a wide range of fresh, local and seasonal produce such as apples, apple juice, pies, meat, Suffolk-cure bacon, cold meats, goat's cheese, locally ground flour and Jersey cream from local producers.
