Highland Cattle Our fold of pedigree Highland cattle is gradually being expanded. We started with two cows in 2004 and now have 24 cows on the farm. Highlands are raised for beef and we have a regular supply of our own beef in the farm shop. Highlands are a very hardy breed and allow us to utilise more of the land on the farm, which is unsuitable for fruit or vegetable production. This allows us to have a much more integrated farming system and also to increase the biodiversity of our meadows. Stock for sale We usually have highland cattle for sale.
