NEWLY EXTENDED TEAROOM
NOW OPEN!!
We have just finished
extending our tearoom into the beautiful timber-framed 19th
Century barn to the rear of the courtyard. We now have
64 seats inside and 16 seats outside in the courtyard.
Regular customers
will notice we have a new entrance through the double glass
doors and have moved the counter. We hope everyone enjoys
sitting and having teas and lunch in this lovely new space!
We also have a permanent
area for children's colouring in books, toys, games and story
books so we hope our small customers will enjoy coming too.

Alder Carr Tearoom
& Restaurant offers fairtrade and organic loose leaf tea
and coffee, home-made cakes and a full lunch menu in the attractively
converted cow byre or in the courtyard.
Traditional roast
dinners are served on Sundays, served with our own or local
meat and vegetables.
The ingrediants
that we use are from the farm or local suppliers where possible;
supporting local seasonal food. We carefully select all of
our ingredients, for instance we use local flour, English
butter and British sugar and buy organic or fairtrade where
possible if items are sourced from outside the UK.
